A member of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee revealed Sunday that the ministers of the current government were given powers to proceed with the contracts until the end of the current year, calling for the need for the parliament to have a real and honorable stance towards what some ministers are taking advantage of their last days.
Al-Kalabi said in a conference he held in the parliament building and was attended by the "information", that "there is a book issued by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers reveals that powers were granted to ministers to proceed with contracts until the end of the current year and they were not resigned", noting that "this decision was taken in the extraordinary session that took place The government's resignation in it and during the last period we have pointed out many disasters, including the Minister of Education replacing three general managers for refusing to sign the Dar Al-Nahrain contract to print some books for the next year with the presence of a clear book from the Undersecretary for the lack of the need to print books and this is evidence of the existence of almost corruption in the Publications".
He added that "there are disastrous files and the size of waste in billions and the size of theft is catastrophic, therefore we believe that the government's resignation in public and its performance are files and suspicions of corruption in secret against what the Iraqi people are demanding of reforming the system of corruption and quotas", stressing the need for "the parliament to have a real honorable stance towards what is done It has some ministers who take advantage of their last days to steal what they can steal. "
Al-Kalabi demanded the resigning Prime Minister to "withdraw the hands of the interrogated ministers until the questions that were addressed to them in the interrogation are checked, and we will send a letter with the signature of a number of deputies," stressing that "tomorrow he will direct the interrogation books to the chief prosecutor for the purpose of opening files, conducting the investigation and preventing the travel of interrogated ministers."
