MP Ahmad Mazhar al-Jubouri emphasized: "The government's lack of control over its outlets caused a great financial waste."

Al-Jubouri said in a press statement: "There is a huge financial waste, caused by the president's lack of control over the outlets," noting that "there are other parties that control these outlets, and therefore withdraw their resources in their favor, not in the interest of the state."

He pointed out that some armed groups set up tents at the outlets in order to impose royalties on goods entering from these areas, noting: "These groups are stronger than the authority of the state."
