, The Finance Committee in the House of Representatives said on Sunday that the government did not provide it with figures on the value of outlets' imports due to high levels of corruption.
Committee member Hoshyar Abdullah pointed out that "the government did not provide us with any numbers about the value of the port imports or the fees collected from them, due to the high rate of corruption, so any numbers that come will reveal the reality of corruption and what is happening in Iraqi ports."
He added, "The government failed miserably to put an end to corruption inside the border outlets," noting that "a committee has been formed in the House of Representatives to discuss this big problem and find solutions to it." Ended 29 / A 43
