Political analyst: The government used the demonstrations to pass deals of corruption
Political analyst Sadiq Al-Rikabi confirmed today, Monday, that the government headed by resigned Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi took advantage of everyone's preoccupation with demonstrations to pass corruption deals, including passing special grades.
Al-Rikabi said in a press statement, "The government's extension of the ministries by concluding deals until the end of this year, despite being a daily caretaker government, is a legal violation."
He added that "the House of Representatives had not only satisfied the resignation of Abdul-Mahdi, but rather its accountability and accountability for the murders of the demonstrators as well as the conclusion of corruption deals."
