Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi discussed with the heads of political blocs, in the presence of the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, the Law of Election to the House of Representatives.
Al-Halbousi stressed, according to a statement by his office, the need to reach an agreement on a law that meets the aspirations and aspirations of the Iraqi people and rebuilds confidence for the voters, in a manner that guarantees a fair electoral process and genuine representation of Iraqi citizens throughout Iraq.
The meeting discussed the ideas presented by Iraqi and international experts on the law, in order to reach its legislation as soon as possible, stressing that running and voting is a legitimate right for all Iraqis.
