Al Ahed News - Erbil
A leading member and official of the Erbil Center for the Islamic Movement in Iraqi Kurdistan, Kamal Al-Zirari, pointed out that the resignation of the Abdul Mahdi government was an obstacle that prevented the implementation of the agreement between Erbil and Baghdad regarding oil and the budget.
Al-Zareeri told Al-Ahd News today, Wednesday, that "intense dialogues took place between Erbil and Baghdad over oil and the 2020 budget, and they were positive, and all terms were agreed, but the government's resignation represented an obstacle to the implementation of those agreements."
He added that "that agreement was one of the most important agreements concluded between Erbil and Baghdad."
