And "Bloomberg" said that the bank data of tens of thousands of Facebook employees in America was stolen, through someone who seized the company's hard drives, who were in the car of an employee of the American company.
According to the message received by the employees of "Facebook", the seized disks were not "encrypted", and they contained important information such as the employees ’payroll and their account numbers, as well as the last four numbers of their social security accounts, in addition to other data such as bonuses and shares .
And according to a company statement, this theft exposed the data of 29 thousand employees who worked on Facebook during the past year.
According to the company, the stolen disks did not contain any data related to the users of the social networking site.
Facebook called employees to inform their banks of the theft, while working with the relevant authorities to retrieve information and expose the perpetrator.
