deputy of the Al-Fateh Alliance Fadel al-Fatlawi confirmed, on Sunday, that Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani is not a candidate from a larger bloc, but that the party concerned with his nomination is the President of the Republic, denying that there is a larger bloc working to nominate a certain figure for the position of Prime Minister.
In a statement to Al-Maalouma, Al-Fatlawi said, "The President of the Republic is the person concerned with nominating a person whom he finds suitable for the position of Prime Minister as an alternative to Adel Abdul-Mahdi."
