The Jordanian MP, Yahya Al-Saud, said that the extraction of oil in Jordan will take place after America "permits" that, and that the contracts will reach the government to sign it if America gives the green light to that.
The speech of Representative Yahya Al-Saud came during a parliamentary session that discussed the reason for the government in 2015 to cancel the agreement it signed with the energy company "Ammonite International Corporation."
The Minister of Energy attributed the reason for canceling the agreement at the time that the company concerned did not abide by the terms of the agreement, while a number of deputies criticized the government's justification, wondering about the secret of not checking the financial suitability of the company.
