, MP for Al-Hikma Alliance Ali Al-Aboudi confirmed, Sunday, the continuation of consultations between the political blocs to choose a candidate to head the next government, while noting that his stream takes into account the public’s orientations regarding the candidate.
Al-Aboudi said in an interview with "Mawazine News" that "consultations regarding the selection of the candidate to head the next government to succeed the resigned headed by Adel Abdul-Mahdi are continuing, but there is no meeting for the heads of political blocs this evening."
He added, "He does not agree with a certain personality to be nominated to the position," noting that "his current takes into account the choices of his audience regarding the candidate to head the government."
He noted, "There is consensus on candidates within a specific component and not compatibility with other components."
