15 billion dinars for tourism and antiquities projects in two provinces

The Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Abdul Amir Al-Hamdani, announced the approval of the Ministry of Finance to allocate 15 billion dinars to start projects in the tourism and antiquities sector in the provinces [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/644/%D8%B0%D9%8A %D9%82%D8%A7%D8%B1]of Dhi Qar and[/url] Muthanna.
Al-Hamdani stated in a press statement: "The projects will include the maintenance of the landmarks in the cities of Ur and the archaeological wards [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/644/%D8%B0%D9%8A %D9%82%D8%A7%D8%B1]of Dhi Qar and[/url] Muthanna, in addition to the establishment of a tourist village in Al-Jabayesh in the Dhi Qar marshes with an area of about ten donums, and erecting the martyrs of the marshes in the forefront of the central marshes."
He added: "The projects will also include pathways for controlling visitors and other projects to serve the visitors, in addition to rehabilitating the Al-Nasiriyah Civilization Museum," noting: "The specialized engineering departments will finish preparations to start implementation at the beginning of next year."
