Rouhani: The Islamic world must be free from the hegemony of the dollar and the American financial system

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani stressed on Thursday that the Islamic world faces new challenges at the national and international levels, calling on Islamic countries to take measures to liberate from the hegemony of the dollar and the American financial system.
This came in a speech by Rouhani during the opening ceremonies of the mini-Islamic summit "Kuala Lumpur 2019" which took place Thursday morning in the presence of the presidents of Turkey, Qatar and Malaysia, in addition to hundreds of personalities and elites in Islamic countries.
President Rouhani said that "cultural challenges are the biggest challenges facing the Islamic world. Also, the security challenges facing the Islamic world and constitute serious threats, including those of the Zionist entity, "pointing out that" the threats of terrorism and extremism constitute an aspect of the security challenges facing some Islamic countries. "
Rouhani added that "there are major issues such as the globalization of the economy, which requires us to reach an exchange of information", noting that "the economic embargo turned into a bayonet for arrogant domination, and that the United States uses the economy as a mechanism for terrorism."
President Rouhani stressed that "what we need most today in the Islamic world is adherence to religion and that with the help of democracy and the Islamic religion we can face all challenges," adding that "science is the authority and whoever holds it will win."
On cooperation between Islamic countries, President Rouhani said that cooperation between Islamic countries should be a principle to solve many problems and get rid of Western domination. Ended / 25
