{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The leader of the National Wisdom Movement, Baligh Abu Kallal, revealed that the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, was exposed to what he described as “tremendous pressure” regarding the nomination of the next prime minister.
Abu Kallal said in a statement, received by Al-Furat News Agency, that Saleh "is under tremendous pressure that has never passed on to a sovereign official after 2003!"
He added, "[Saleh] acted an honorable and patriotic person, seeing himself before a historical moment, and I ask God to enable him to choose the correct decision that carries his name in the history of Iraq with honor and greatness, such as the greatness of Iraq and the location of the president protecting Iraq, its unity and its constitution."
