    Information / Baghdad ..
Member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Mahmoud Khoshnaw, confirmed on Saturday that the visit of President Barham Saleh to Sulaimaniyah has nothing to do with political developments in Baghdad, indicating that he will return to the capital as soon as possible.
"The President of the Republic came to Sulaimaniyah to attend the ceremony to choose the president of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and had nothing to do with his message to the Iraqi parliament," Khushnaw said in a statement to "The Information." Noting that "Saleh is one of the strongest candidates for this position and will return to Baghdad."
He added, "Saleh is continuing with the political leaders on finding a substitute for the prime minister," expecting that "things will go to early elections to resolve the current crisis."
Khoshnaw denied, "There is an intention to remain the President of the Republic in Sulaymaniyah," stressing that "the President will return to Baghdad after the completion of the election of the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan." Ended / 25
