    Member of the High Commission for Human Rights, Ali Al-Bayati, confirmed on Saturday that no demonstrators have been arrested in the past events, according to the anti-terrorism law.
    "Most of those arrested because of the demonstrations have been released and numbering 2,700 since the beginning of the demonstrations in the first of October," Al-Bayati said in a statement.
    He added, "The remainder are under investigation and there are also efforts to release them, who are approximately 100," noting that "there is no referral to any pretender case according to the articles of the anti-terrorism law as rumored."
    He explained, “We have received complaints about the kidnapping of 68 protesters also by unknown parties. First, 12 of them were freed by government agencies.” End 25 Q
