, a high-ranking Iraqi official said, on Tuesday, that the American bombing that targeted the popular crowd camp in the city of Qaim was expected and that three possible sites were being attacked to attack it.
The official said, "The attack" was expected, and several possible areas were discussed to attack it, the most prominent of which is Jurf al-Sakhr, south of Baghdad, and Al-Kursi near the town of Tal Afar, west of Mosul, and Tuz Khurmato, north of Baghdad, and al-Khalis in Diyala, east of Baghdad, as they are the centers of the Popular Hash factions.
He described the attack as "ending the gray area that has remained inside the US-Iraqi relations since Adel Abdul Mahdi came to power in October last year and moved to the stage of peerage." Ended 29 / A 43
