Khamenei is crying at the funeral of the terrorist Qassem Soleimani .. and activists: crocodile tears
Social media activists launched a violent attack on the leader of the mullahs regime, Ali [size=13]Khamenei, after he cried at the funeral of the terrorist Qassem Soleimani, describing that crying as "crocodile tears."
Khamenei had attained the funeral prayer at the University of Tehran over the body of the commander of the Quds Force Qassem Soleimani, in the presence of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Chairman of the Shura Council Ali Larijani, Leader of the Revolutionary Guards Hussein Salami and head of the judiciary Ibrahim Raisi.
This comes amid amazement at the imposition of the regime for three days of mourning, coinciding with preventing the families of those killed in the recent protests from holding funerals for them.
Activists pointed out that the mullahs' regime is trying to use the killing of Soleimani in order to calm Iranian public opinion, which is still calling for revealing the death toll in the recent protests, and to show a picture of a "unified" Iran in light of the great repression witnessed in the protests that prevailed in the country after the announcement of raising fuel prices.
In the same vein, the State Department said, it is considered "hypocrisy" for Khamenei to impose three days of mourning on a terrorist such as Qassem Soleimani, while the families of Iranian demonstrators killed for grieving them are forbidden and lost.
The State Department indicated in a tweet on Twitter that Soleimani was not a hero, but rather a killer of Iranians, Americans, and thousands of others.
The State Department stated that Soleimani killed 603 American forces and injured thousands in Iraq.
She explained in a tweet that "the terrorist" was responsible for 17 percent of the American deaths in Iraq between 2003 and 2011.
Activists released a video clip showing Khamenei crying at Soleimani's funeral, and they said, "Khamenei cried as many mothers, children and Syrian, Iraqi and Yemeni mothers cried."
Activists wrote that Iran is seeking, through the funeral, political gains.
Others regarded Khamenei's tears as "crocodile tears."
The terrorist Qassem Soleimani, the commander of the "Jerusalem Corps" who was charged with managing the foreign operations of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard abroad and architect of the Iranian strategy in the Middle East, was killed in a US air strike targeting him at dawn Friday in front of Baghdad International Airport.
