    On Monday, legal expert Ali al-Tamimi confirmed that resigned Prime Minister [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] could not return to the prime minister again after he resigned from his post, stating that his re-granting confidence would be against the constitution.
    Al-Tamimi said in a statement to "Information", that "the re-granting of confidence by Parliament to the resigned Prime Minister is not possible and will be a constitutional violation if he is re-granted confidence."
    He added that "resignation is a failure, abdication and vacancy for the position, as it is not possible to return to this position, and the powers will be transferred to the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, after the expiry of the 30-day deadline for the conduct of business."
    He explained that "returning Abdul Mahdi to power would be contrary to Article 76 of the Constitution, which states that the President of the Republic assigns another or new candidate for the position of prime minister." 25 n ended
