The Dhi Qar demonstrators gave the government a week to implement popular demands, threatening to cut off the international road completely if not implemented.
The demonstrators wrote a statement in which six points came as follows:
1 .. Accountability of killing our youth, especially the massacre of Nasiriyah
2 .. Completing the election law and ratifying it
3 .. Completing the attached schedule for the multiple constituencies with determining the size of the constituency 4 .. Determining the date of early parliamentary elections
5 ... Mandating an independent, non-controversial
, independent prime minister . Giving the government a period of one week to implement popular demands.
