{International: Al Furat News} An Iraqi diplomatic source revealed today, Wednesday, the refusal of three capitals to open Iraqi embassies records of condolences for the assassination of the deputy head of the Popular Mobilization Authority, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.
The source said to RT that "the United States of America prevented the Iraqi embassy in Washington from opening a record of condolences for the killing of the engineer, and Bahrain and Saudi Arabia also rejected the matter," noting that "the Iraqi consulate in Detroit witnessed significant security measures by the American authorities to prevent the record being opened."
He added, "The UAE did not oppose the opening of the condolences record at the Iraqi embassy in Abu Dhabi, despite the convergence of its policy with the countries that refused to open."
Earlier this month, the Foreign Minister, Muhammad Ali al-Hakim, directed all diplomatic and consular missions to open records of condolences for the lives of the mass crowd deaths who had died as a result of the recent US raids.
