the US State Department spokeswoman, Morgan Ortagos, on Monday, said that the Iraqi parliament’s vote on a law that obliges foreign forces to leave Iraq is defective and challenged its legitimacy.
"The Iraqi parliament’s vote to withdraw the American forces is deficient due to the absence of the representatives of the sects from the session," Ortagos quoted Sky News as saying.
At the beginning of this month, the House of Representatives voted by a majority, on a resolution calling on the government to end the foreign military presence on the country’s territory, and to submit an official complaint to the Security Council against the United States for its “violation of Iraqi sovereignty.” End / 29 BC
