[size=18]On Sunday, a deputy from the al-Hikma Movement confirmed that there are efforts to not repeat the scene of 2014 regarding the non-passage of the federal budget and the "confusion" that accompanied it, pointing out that the parliament took precautionary steps in case the budget was not legislated.

Representative Hassan Khallati said in an interview with Alsumaria News, "The budget is the main nerve of any work in the state, and in any country where there is no budget, we find a state of confusion and randomness in the government administration and public finance."

And, “The 2014 experience that passed without approving a budget was a difficult experience and it has many negatives and confusions and we do not want to repeat it in 2020,” adding that “the current government is a caretaker government, which makes the possibility of repeating the scene of not passing the budget a possibility, given that Its legislation was left to the next government. "

He continued, "The House of Representatives worked with precautionary and proactive steps to prevent the recurrence of the 2014 scenery by amending the Financial Management Law to recycle the amounts allocated to investment projects, in addition to the possibility of spending 1/12 of the 2019 budget for operating expenses and salaries."

On Monday (January 13th), a member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Ahmed Al-Saffar, affirmed that there is no legal way out to proceed with the budget without a new government.
