Jawdat said in a press statement: "The threats of the demonstration squares in Baghdad and the provinces to escalate and expand the protests raise concerns and constitute a factor of concern for citizens, and therefore it is necessary to expedite the resolution of the crisis of naming the prime minister, in order to prevent any negative phenomenon that may lead to breaches of security."
She added: "If the political blocs, especially the Shiites concerned with naming the prime minister, are intransigent and not creating a mechanism for consensus, it will lead to the political process going into the unknown."
