    The Ministry of Planning announced, on Tuesday, that [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] signed a contract with the United Nations to support the implementation of the general census of the population this year, while revealing some details of the contract.
    The ministry said, in a statement received / information / a copy of it, that " [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] signed with the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN- HABITAT) a joint cooperation contract to support the implementation of the general population and housing census to be implemented in the last third of the year 2020."
    He added, “The contract was signed on the Iraqi side by the head of the Central Bureau of Statistics Zia Awad Kazem, while Irfan Ali, the regional director of (UN- HABITAT), signed it.”
    In addition, Minister of Planning Nouri Al-Dulaimi said, “The contract will provide the Central Bureau of Statistics with high-resolution satellite images of all areas of work for the general population and facilities for urban and rural areas, the design of a digital geographic platform for the census and the digital and statistical statistical paper for the census.”
