Yassin said: “There are great challenges facing [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/441/%D8%B1%D8%A6%D9%8A%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%88%D8%B2%D8%B1%D8%A7%D8%A1]the[/url] next [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/441/%D8%B1%D8%A6%D9%8A%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%88%D8%B2%D8%B1%D8%A7%D8%A1]prime minister[/url] , the most prominent of which are the security situation, service and economic issues, and international relations, especially in light of the tensions in the region. Noting: These challenges need a brave and strong Prime Minister.
He stressed the importance of naming a prime minister who is strong and courageous in making decisions, preserves the security and sovereignty of the country, works to restore the prestige of the state, keep the country away from regional conflicts, and not align itself with one party without another, and puts before him only the interests of the country and the people.
He pointed out that service issues are among the most important challenges that the Prime Minister can overcome by implementing projects that serve citizens.
To that, the deputy of the Alliance Alliance, Riyad Al-Masoudi, stressed that the political blocs ’dispute regarding the choice of an alternate prime minister for Abdul Mahdi is not related to the nominated person, but rather to the mechanism of action of the next government.
Al-Masoudi said in a press statement: “Many believe that the differences of the Shi’ite blocs relate to how to choose the character that is named to head the next government, and this belief is very far from true, and that what is going on in the closed discussion halls is a contradiction to the mechanism that the next government will be.”
He added, "There are three different and intersecting directions on the mechanism." Noting that "the first direction presses on the continuation of Abdel Mahdi for a transitional period with specific powers, and the second wishes to bring an independent, well-known and tested personality in the political process as happened in the nomination of the Sudanese and Shukri and others, and is given a longer period until the elections are held without specifying the work of the government."
Al-Masoudi continued: "As for the third direction, which is in line with the specifications of the pretending arenas to be completely independent and strong, and early elections are held, and this is not what the political blocs will accept because it will be the biggest loser." Stressing that "the political process is going through the most difficult cases of complication and aggravation."
