America announces a shocking decision to Iraq
In an email to the US Department of Defense, spokesman Bryan Perkins said that the shipments include parts and missiles for the Iraq fleet of F-16s, adding in his letter, seen inside Inside Defense, that delivery of weapons will resume when conditions in Iraq are safe enough.
The news portal added that the handover will return again "when the environment in Iraq is safe enough to resume." The last shipment was delivered on November 14.
A $ 1.8 billion deal was signed in May 2016 on Sidewinder missiles, Maverick missiles, and other weapons for Iraq.
