    The representative of the victory coalition, Nada Shaker Jawdat, suggested today, Saturday, the appointment of Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi today, noting that most political blocs agreed to name him for the position earlier.
    Jawdat said, "There are certain indications that the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, will appoint Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi for the position of next Prime Minister during the coming hours of this day."
    She added, "Most of the political blocs agreed earlier to name Allawi for the position, but a slight difference occurred within a few hours before Saleh traveled to Davos."

    An informed source revealed, on Saturday, the intention of Iraqi President Barham Salih to assign Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi to form a government after the approval of Sadr movement leader Muqtada al-Sadr and the head of the Al-Fath Alliance Hadi al-Amiri.
