The Prime Minister in charge of forming the transitional government, Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi, revealed his nomination mechanism for prime minister, while issuing an appeal to the protesters.
Allawi said in a post on his account on Facebook, and Al-Ahed News viewed it today, Monday, that "the demonstrations achieved impressive results by rejecting most of the political class that brought the country to this miserable state," noting that "these achievements were represented by the development of a new election law and a new reality for a commission The elections as well as the removal of party candidates to take over as prime minister.
He added, “After that, a group of independent deputies, who numbered about 170, responded to the demands of the demonstrators, and they chose five names from those whose names and pictures were presented in the demonstration squares. Muhammad Allawi was truly a representative of the peaceful demonstrators.
He continued, "What the corrupt fears are the proposals of Muhammad Allawi to end the political quota, so they lose what they hope of corruption and thefts, so they moved to spread the atmosphere of confusion and chaos and disperse the word of the demonstrators," calling on the "demonstrators to withdraw the fuse of the conflict and the differences and not to allow the corrupt people to turn back the clock back ”
He added, "Only in the spirit of brotherhood, love, and cooperation can we save our country, rise with it, and achieve its prosperity and development. Otherwise, we will lose the great achievements and we will drag our country into the abyss if we abandon the spirit of brotherhood and cooperation and radiate the spirit of discord, conflict and conflict."
