    [size=45]Today, February 02, 2020, the official Iraqi News Agency announced the death toll from the demonstrators and the security forces since October 25 last year until January 31, 2020, which according to statistics published by 287 protesters and 5 members of the security forces.

    The agency said that the statistic recorded, "On Friday, October 25, 51 martyrs of demonstrators fell throughout the provinces that witnessed demonstrations, while one martyr of the security forces fell."[/size]
    [size=45]She added, "On October 26, 22 martyrs of the demonstrators fell, and on the 27th of the same month, statistics recorded the fall of 7 martyrs of the demonstrators, while on the 28th day there were 12 martyrs of demonstrators in all governorates."[/size]
    [size=45]She pointed out that "on the 29th of the same month, 7 protesters were killed, while on the 30th of the same month 6 martyrs fell, and on the 31st of the same month, two demonstrators fell."[/size]
    [size=45]She added that "according to the statistics, the total number of martyrs who fell in the month of October amounted to 107, while the number of martyrs from the security forces reached one martyr."[/size]
    [size=45]The statistic recorded, "The fall of 142 martyrs from the demonstrators in the month of November in all provinces, while 3 martyrs from the security forces fell in the same month."[/size]
    [size=45]And the agency added in the statistics that "19 martyrs of the demonstrators fell in the month of December, in addition to the fall of one martyr from the security forces."[/size]
    [size=45]Noting that "the total of martyrs who fell in January reached 19 martyrs of the demonstrators, in the governorates that witnessed demonstrations, while the statistics did not record the fall of martyrs from the security forces."[/size]
    [size=45]The unprecedented protests in Iraq were marred by violence that left more than 600 people dead, according to Amnesty International, as protesters demand the departure and accountability of the political elite they accuse of corruption, and they insist on forming a government independent of political parties and not subject to any external ties.[/size]
