The Industry is looking into a mechanism to establish an oil industrial city in Karbala

The Industrial Cities Authority discussed one of the formations of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals with the holy governor of Karbala Nassif Al-Khattabi, a mechanism to establish an oil industrial city.
The Director General of the Industrial Cities Authority Adnan Al-Ghannam said in a statement, which received / information /, a copy of it, “We visited the Holy Governor of Karbala Nassif Jassem Al-Khattabi in the presence of a member of the House of Representatives Hamid Al-Mousawi. Petroleum to recycle the manufactured materials, discuss the allocation mechanism, facilitate procedures, shorten the routine and expedite obtaining the fundamental approvals to advance the city construction process above. ”
Al-Ghannam added, "The governor expressed his willingness to support projects that promote the national industry, stressing the development of mechanisms and plans for the industrial sector in the governorates with a well-studied scientific framework, as well as the importance of the role of the industrial sector in promoting local economic prosperity."
He continued, “There was deliberation regarding the completion of procedures to allocate the area of (5000) dunums that was allocated by the governor to establish a second industrial city for non-polluting industries and the solution of some matters related to it,” noting that “no party can establish cities or industrial clusters other than the cities in mind.” It is the official body that has legislation in accordance with the Cities Law No. (2) of 2019 with this jurisdiction. ” Ended / 25
