The Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed that the expected deficit in the Federal [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Law for 2020 is not real and planned, but indicated: "The percentage of the deficit will change after the budget reaches the House of Representatives within the next month."
Member of the committee, Siham Al-Aqili, said in a press statement: "The expected deficit of 48 trillion Iraqi dinars in the 2020 budget is not real and does not exist on the ground and is merely a planning deficit", indicating: "The deficit was monitored in the operational [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] only."
