, the leader of the victory coalition, Haider al-Abadi, called on the security forces on Thursday to exercise their legal duty to protect the demonstrators.
"We support the continuation of peaceful demonstrations and their protection in order to carry out fundamental reforms, and we stand before attempts to deflect them towards violence and chaos and disrupt public life," Al-Abadi said in a tweet on his Twitter account seen by Mawazine News.
He added: "The security forces must exercise their legal duty to protect the peaceful, the masses are the same woman, and there is no guardianship over them. # The will of the people will prevail despite the killing, abuse and intimidation." End 29 /
