{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Interior issued a statement regarding the events that accompanied the demonstrations in Najaf and Karbala on Wednesday and Thursday.
[size=15][rtl][size=21]"The security forces followed up the events that took place in the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala yesterday and today, and unfortunate events took place, during which a number of victims fell, and investigations are underway to find out the perpetrators and pursue them," a ministry statement said .[/rtl]
[rtl]The Interior Ministry affirmed that "the security forces are carrying out their duties to protect peaceful demonstrators and prevent attacks against them from any party, as well as to maintain the peaceful demonstrations."[/rtl]
[rtl]She called on "the demonstrators to exercise restraint and adhere to the demonstration areas and to preserve public and private interests, and we also call on the media to be accurate in reporting the news from its official and real sources in a way that contributes to knowing the facts without amplification or intimidation ."[/rtl]
