a source familiar with the negotiations to form the new government revealed, on Sunday, the scenes of what is going on in the negotiations and messages that reach the Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi.
The source said in an interview with "Mawazine News" that "what is happening under the table is the opposite of what is going on above it. The political blocs that talk in the media about giving Allawi the opportunity to choose his cabinet cabinet are currently requesting to nominate certain personalities to the ministries."
He added, "Allawi stipulated that the parties should not nominate the ministerial portfolios, but there were letters that reached him to demand electoral benefits."
