Palestinians threatened with displacement in Iraq go to Tahrir Square soon

Shafaq News / The Human Rights Commission announced on Wednesday that hundreds of threatened Palestinian families intend to block Tahrir Square in the center of the capital, Baghdad, to protest the conditions they are going through.
A UNHCR member, Ali al-Bayati, said in a statement today that "after the refugee agency Shawn cut the rental costs to them, 300 Palestinian families in Baghdad, the majority of whom are patients, the elderly, children and widows, are at risk of displacement in Iraq."
He added, "There is an intention to go to Tahrir Square to search for solutions with the people of the country who have been demanding rights for four months."
Press sources said that the UNHCR recently decided to stop paying rental fees to Palestinian prisoners in Baghdad
And the number of Palestinians in Iraq before 2003 was 40 thousand, after that they had to leave Iraq in the form of meals and individual cases, and their number decreased to decrease to 3500.
