The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issues a clarification regarding the appointments of holders of higher degrees

The ministry said in a statement, "These appointments came in accordance with [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/953/%D9%85%D8%AC%D9%84%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%88%D8%B2%D8%B1%D8%A7%D8%A1]Cabinet[/url] Resolution No. (373) for the year 2019, which included that all ministries appoint high-school graduates as an exception to the provisions of implementing the budget law, and for the year 2019 only."
She added, "The names announced varied between the demonstrators, the families of the martyrs, the owners of contracts in the ministry, and the generous Iraqi components from all Iraqi provinces who hold masters and doctorate degrees in the branches that have a direct relationship with the foreign service."
And she continued, "The appointment orders were issued after interviewing the applicants, and the qualified ones were screened by a higher committee in the ministry, whose work was characterized by transparency and professionalism."
The ministry called for a review of the reality before making the media statements that do not serve our country or our people.
Hassan Al-Kaabi, the first deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, directed the formation of an investigative committee of three parliamentary committees on the appointments of the [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/449/%D9%88%D8%B2%D8%A7%D8%B1%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AE%D8%A7%D8%B1%D8%AC%D9%8A%D8%A9]Ministry of Foreign Affairs[/url] .
Al-Kaabi, according to a statement of his office, asked verbally about the lists of appointments issued recently by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, pointing out: "The matter did not include those with higher degrees from the specialization in the College of Political Science and Law and the other nearby, at a time when the ministry is in urgent need of their services, It also did not include the owners of contracts who had spent years in service and had not yet been installed. "
