Member of the Interim Constitutional Constitutional Amendments Committee, Jamal Kujer, revealed, on Monday, the completion of 116 articles of the constitution, confirming the completion of all the clauses stated to be amended within the time period.
Cougar said in a statement to the "information", that "the last period witnessed the completion of 116 constitutional articles," stressing that "there are differences and points of view regarding the disputed articles will be referred to the heads of political blocs to decide on them."
He added that "the remaining articles will be completed during the next legislative term," noting that "the legislative holiday does not fall within the four months scheduled to complete the amendment."
Cougar pointed out that "the general principle that was agreed upon within the committee is to post controversial articles that are amended to members of the House of Representatives who decide", indicating that "the points that obtain consensus within the committee pass without reference to the heads of the blocs and members of the Council."
