The Parliamentary Economy and Investment Committee revealed, today, Wednesday, that the percentage of importing goods and goods during the past months has decreased to 40%, indicating that Iraq was importing goods at a rate of 99% from neighboring countries during the last period.
Committee member Saad Al-Khazali said, "Iraq was importing goods with 99% of neighboring countries during the last period, but that percentage started to decrease gradually over the past months."
Khazali added, "During the past months, the import rate decreased by 40%," stressing that "the central and southern governorates started to depend entirely on the local product, especially agricultural crops."
Khazali pointed out that "there are political parties that were standing in the way of the local product for reasons related to economic organizations owned by the parties." Finished 2
