Maliki and the Kurds are discussing the course of forming Allawi's government

The head of the State of Law coalition Nuri al-Maliki discussed with a delegation from the Kurdistan region, on Wednesday, the way the formation of the government of Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi and political consensus in its formation.
A statement of the coalition received / information /, that "the head of the coalition of state law Nuri al-Maliki received his office this evening has political forces in the Kurdistan region headed by Mr. Hoshyar Zebari."
He added, "The meeting discussed developments in the political situation throughout the country and ways to enhance prospects for cooperation between the parties to the political process, and the course of forming the transitional government headed by Mr. Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi was also discussed."
The two sides stressed the need to "preserve the principle of political accommodation and achieve more harmony in managing the transitional phase in preparation for more stable political and social conditions."
The meeting expressed their "hope for the formation of a transitional government that represents all Iraqis and contributes to overcoming the state of political blockage in order for the government to be coherent and able to achieve services and meet the aspiration of the Iraqi people." 25 n ended
