Iran: Next year's budget does not depend on oil

[size=16]The head of the Planning and Budget Organization in Iran, Mohammad Baqer Nobakht, confirmed that the budget for the new Iranian year that begins on the twenty-first of next March will be the most budgetary in Iran's history free from dependence on oil.[/size]
[size=16]Through this approach, officials are trying to administer the country in accordance with the conditions of the embargo imposed by the United States of America.[/size]
[size=16]And "Arna" quoted Nobakht as saying, in an interview with the Islamic Shura Council that began discussing the general lines of the new budget yesterday, Monday, that it is "the country's third budget organized in light of the embargo and maximum economic pressures, so that the enemy is monitoring the impact of its pressure on the country."[/size]
[size=16]He continued, "We did not raise our hands and did not give in to the pressure of the enemy. Rather, we put the budget away from the heavy dependence on oil, so that the dependence of the Iranian budget next year on oil resources does not exceed 8.5 percent."[/size]
[size=16]In another aspect of his speech, Nobakht emphasized that "the proceeds from the increase in gasoline prices have been distributed entirely to citizens."[/size]
