Former MP: Sunnis do not believe in the establishment of the Sunni region and their threats are to pressure the government

On Wednesday, former deputy Jasim Muhammad Jaafar ruled out the tendency to establish the Sunni region, pointing out that the threat to establish such a region came to pressure the new government, as Sunni Arabs do not believe in the idea of a Sunni region, but rather believe in a united Iraq.
Jaafar said in a statement to "Information", that "there are international bodies that support the idea of establishing the Sunni region and pushing their arms to pressure the Shiite side to implement their agendas, and this matter should be paid attention to because of its great danger that may lead to the emergence of the Sunni region."
He added that "there are conscious Shiite parties that should resort to exits to stop such plans and create a kind of consensus on forming the new government with the participation of all components."
