The differences between Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi and the House of Representatives escalated two days before the emergency session was held to vote on the ministerial cabinet due to be submitted by Allawi next Thursday.
The Presidency of the House of Representatives addressed the public prosecutor in an official letter to take immediate legal measures against Allawi against the background of his tweet on Twitter this morning, which accused MPs of obtaining money in exchange for not passing his cabinet.
According to the document obtained by the Mawazine News, the council called on the public prosecutor to prove the veracity of the statements of the Prime Minister-designate or not.
