Parliamentary integrity calls for the new government to reveal the files of Abdel Mahdi's ministers

Member of the [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/221/%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%86%D8%B2%D8%A7%D9%87%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%86%D9%8A%D8%A7%D8%A8%D9%8A%D8%A9][size=13]Parliamentary Integrity[/url] Committee, Sabah Al-Okaili, on Thursday, called on [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/1397/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AD%D9%83%D9%88%D9%85%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AC%D8%AF%D9%8A%D8%AF%D8%A9]the new government[/url] to work to uncover the files of the ministers of Adel Abdul Mahdi’s resigned government, noting that some ministers had not cooperated with the parliamentary oversight bodies in exposing the files of corruption as well as the existence of files belonging to some ministers.
Al-Okaili said in a statement, "One of the tasks of [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/1397/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AD%D9%83%D9%88%D9%85%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AC%D8%AF%D9%8A%D8%AF%D8%A9]the new government[/url] work is [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/1397/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AD%D9%83%D9%88%D9%85%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AC%D8%AF%D9%8A%D8%AF%D8%A9]to[/url] reveal the files of the resigned government in front of the relevant committees within the House of Representatives," noting that his committee "has a large number of files that belong to some ministers of the resigned government, including the ministries of agriculture and transport."
He added that "there are files that have not been disclosed because of the lack of cooperation of the ministers with the parliamentary committees, and therefore it is necessary to send all the files of the ministers and contracts concluded to the Integrity Committee for the purpose of verification."
The member of the House of Representatives Ahmed Mudloul Al-Jarba confirmed, today, Thursday, that more than half of the ministers of Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi were excellent and efficient, indicating that the real defect was with the person of Abdul-Mahdi because he allowed some political blocs to interfere negatively.
