    A local official in Diyala province confirmed on Sunday the high rates of trade exchange at the Mandali border crossing with Iran.
    Mazen Akram, director of the Mandali side of the agency (95 km east of Baquba), said, “The rates of trade exchange at the Mandali border crossing with Iran increased at an increasing pace during the past two days, indicating that yesterday the exchange statistics were more than 100 trucks carrying different Materials and merchandise. ”
    Akram added, "The closure of border crossings with Iran in the north and south of the country generated pressure on the Mandali border crossing, which was reopened to commercial exchange last Thursday after it was closed for 3 consecutive days based on the decision of the government crisis cell in Diyala."
    With Ghassan Al-Tamimi, a customs broker at the Mandali border crossing, indicated that “the terms of trade increased more than 50% during the past 48 hours and may rise to higher rates in the coming days after a lot of commercial shipments shifted towards the port after the closure of crossings in the south and north with Iran due to fever Corona. ”
    Al-Tamimi added, “The port is characterized by its proximity to Baghdad and Baqouba, so it has become a great starting point for commercial convoys coming from Iran at the present time.” End / 25
