    Baghdad / ... President of the victory coalition, Haider al-Abadi, on Wednesday presented a new 6-step initiative to overcome the government formation crisis.

    In a statement, Al-Abadi called for "all parties to reach solidarity solutions out of the crisis and the need to show wisdom and a spirit of compromise away from narrow interests, high ceilings and the risk of adventures."

    The President of the Victory Coalition cited a 6-step initiative, which he said was "to overcome the crisis of confidence and the emptiness of power, and based on our national responsibilities," it came as follows:

    1. His Excellency the President of the Republic assigns a qualified, independent and strong independent person to head the government within 15 days.

    2. Forming a mini government to manage the transitional period, provided that it does not exceed one year of its responsibility.

    3. The primary tasks of the government are to hold early and fair elections, with a UNAMI partnership, with a deadline of 12/31/2020, to control security, confine weapons to the state, and bring the perpetrators of the demonstrators and security forces to justice, and the neutrality of the national decision.

    4. The Prime Minister-designate obliged to form a government away from the abhorrent party allocation, while preserving the representation of national societal diversity.

    5. Engaging professional and government activists, and appointing an advisor to the Prime Minister for mass demands, to ensure the public’s involvement in the management of the transition.

    6. Forming special committees (tripartite) from the government, the UNAMI, and the demonstrators, to supervise the following tasks: holding elections, investigative committees for killing demonstrators and security forces, and re-establishing security in Iraqi governorates. Finished 2
