The Parliamentary Legal Committee confirmed, Thursday, that the Ministry of Trade data is insufficient to resolve the file of the multiple constituencies.
Committee member Hussein Al-Oqabi said in a statement to “Information”, that “resolving the file of the multiple electoral districts voted by the House of Representatives within the new election law requires a mechanism and a great time to obtain accurate data on population proportions,” noting that “the similarity of the names of the regions from One province to another needs a different handling mechanism than its predecessors to resolve the file.
He added that "the data of the Ministry of Trade is insufficient to resolve the electoral district file," noting that "the population census is in the event of taking place, as it solves part of the crisis and gives accurate data on the percentage of participants in the elections." It ended 25 T.
