(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The deputy head of the Iraqi Forces Alliance bloc MP Raad Al-Dahlaki stressed that the salaries of employees, retirees and contracts are a red line and we do not allow them to be affected under any circumstances.
Al-Dahlaki called in a statement that the Al Furat News Agency received a copy of "the federal government not to invoke flawed issues to justify its inability to provide contract salaries to large numbers of retirees and to address its problems away from those salaries."
He added, "The government is obligated to provide salaries and address its problems away from the livelihood of the simple citizen." Noting that "the conditions the country experienced economically during the war against the terrorist ISIS were very harsh, and despite this, salaries were not affected under any title, and this principle was included. Within previous budgets. "
Al-Dahlaki said, "Today there is a large segment of retirees and contracts in state departments who have not received their salaries for several months, and this matter cannot be accepted or tolerated. The government is obligated to provide those salaries and to work to reduce unnecessary expenditures and reduce the anarchy of unjustified expenditures. To cover those sums, "surprisingly," the government's duplication in dealing with matters, as it is a time of prosperity, does not remember employees and retirees, and does not take any steps to increase their salaries, but it is in the time of trouble, so what you go to is deducting or delaying the salaries of this important segment of the Iraqi people.
