The US military announced that its commander in Europe, Lieutenant General Christopher Cavalli, and a number of US personnel, may have been infected with the Corona virus.
The US military said, in a statement, that Cavalli and some American employees could have been infected with the virus while participating in a recent conference in Europe. He explained that the commander of the US military in Europe is currently practicing "self-monitoring" and carrying out his operational tasks from a distance.
Reports indicate that the conference, during which Cavalli was injured, was held in the German city of Wiesbaden last week and took place with the participation of ground forces commanders in a number of countries.
