Qaddo: "Political Veto" prevents Al-Abadi and Al-Maliki from taking over as Prime Minister
Deputy Hanin Qaddo revealed today, Tuesday, the existence of a "political veto" that prevents former Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki from assuming the position of Prime Minister in the current circumstances.
Qaddo said in a press statement, "Iraq is going through a very sensitive period, with the accumulation of crises of various addresses," pointing out that "there is almost a consensus on a political veto from most political parties not to take any of the Iraqi prime ministers after 2003 as prime minister again." , For various reasons, most notably the satisfaction of the demonstrators, or the lack of conviction of these forces with the performance of any of them and each of them has its reasons. "
Qaddo added, "There are forces and parties, but they are limited to contemplating the return of al-Maliki, or al-Abadi, or the renewal of confidence for Abdel-Mahdi to remain in the prime minister, but supporters of their views are limited, and the majority support the idea of nominating a new personality to manage the next stage."
