Badr Al-Ziyadi, deputy of the Al-Nasr coalition, confirmed on Tuesday that the head of the coalition, Haider al-Abadi, has not yet informed his members of his desire to run for the post of prime minister, while noting that political parties nominated him to return to the post.
Al-Ziyadi said: "Al-Abadi has not met with members of the Al-Nasr coalition yet, to resolve the issue of his candidacy for the post of the new government, in order to support him."
He added: “Al-Abadi’s candidacy for the position of prime minister came from outside victory, by some political forces.” He pointed out that “any candidate for the next prime minister’s position must have the acceptance and agreement of the political forces to cross to the bank of safety and save the Iraqi people from major problems.” That surrounds the country. ”
